Colvin Vincent Thomas, Jr., was born in Montgomery, Alabama on January 29, 1947 to the late Sgt. Colvin Thomas, Sr. and the late Thelma Metoyer Thomas . After a couple of past years in bad health - on Friday, May 25, 2012, Colvin transitioned from his earthly home.
He was doubly blessed in love during his life. From his first bond with Yvonne Portee Thomas, were three gifts in Colvin Vincent Thomas III, Timothy Terrell,(Carolyn) Thomas, Dannell Bybeth Thomas. From his union with Georgia Thomas, were two addition gifts in Sabriya Evette Thomas Barnes and Crystal Vanessa Thomas. Those who knew Colvin could hear his pride come out when he spoke of how "his children loved him" and how he loved them.
He was preceded in death by his loving daughter Sabriya Evette Thomas- Barnes.; parents Colvin and Thelma Thomas, sisters Elaine Thomas; and Kimberly Thomas- Bigsby; and brother Ken Thomas.
Colvin leaves to cherish his memory, his sons Colvin "Vincent" III and Timothy Terrell (wife Carolyn); daughters; Doniell ByBeth Thomas and Crystal V. Thomas; sisters Theresa T. Washington, Mary T. Jones (husband Michael), Pauline T. Jones and Margaret T. Land (husband David); brother Charles E. Thomas (wife Valerie); grandchildren; Anquaneshia, Tiffany, Herman, Lakeshia, Lawoneka, Octavius, Allison, Timothy Jr., Taryll Bovastro Jr., Kayden Thomas.; great grand children; Alyriah, Halea, Hamiya, Hermione, Tavion, Corion; A faithful ex-daughter in law Jacquelyn Thomas, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and good friends.
Memorial Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Shiloh M.B. Church, 5425 Grierson Street, Moss Point, MS.
